Ready or not!

I'm behind. So it's a good thing I'm not being graded on my blog. Anyway, a few weeks ago this happened:

It was a lot of fun ... even if my fans accidentally missed my victorious finish :)

After some anxious waiting, at the beginning of May I found out we got into the St. George marathon -- my second attempt that will hopefully (fingers TIGHTLY crossed) be injury-free. As I crossed the finish line at the Ogden half I couldn't help but think about how in October this will be my halfway point. HALFWAY. Yeaah ... just go ahead and turn right back around. Oh dear. What am I getting myself into? But then the fear passed and I got excited -- really excited. I might hate it. But I also might LOVE it. And there's only one way to find out ...

Vamps - Part Deux

Wow! Wasn't MyBoyfriendIanSomerhalder great on tonight's Vampire Diaries season finale? So much better than what's his name Cullen (No offense, Rest of the World. And guess what else? I'm passing up U2 tickets. YES WAY. Disappointed in me? I thought so.)

Oh ... well now what's this picture? How embarrassing that it was leaked onto the internet! Okaay, well this is us at an awards show. I can't remember which one since he asks me to go to so many of them.

He's got quite the bear hug.

Three posts in four days! What's the deal? I suppose the saying is true ... when it rains it pours.

HOLLYWOOD, CA—Directors Ridley Scott and Tim Burton traded their favorite actors Wednesday, closing a deal in which Scott received Johnny Depp and Burton received Russell Crowe plus two guys from Black Hawk Down and a three-pack of watermelon Bubble Yum. "I'm going to cover his face in white powder and make him wear a purple fright wig and a Victorian frock coat with swirls all over it," said Burton, who unsuccessfully attempted to trade away an old Michael Keaton with whom he hardly ever plays anymore. "Russell Crowe's going to be the best misfit undertaker ever!" Scott, meanwhile, told reporters that he was just glad he got rid of a crappy action figure like Crowe and that he and Burton had definitely called no tradebacks.

I'm sure everyone has been seeing this everywhere today, but I just had to post it because I love it so much. The things she's written about on her blog have always been a great example to me of the kind of mother I wanna be someday ... and now, if it's possible, even more of an example. What a great reminder of what everything is really about.
